Stone and Steel Combat was founded in order to give directors a place to turn for exciting, character-driven, and safe fights as well as to teach safety and effectiveness for actors looking to become more marketable . Fight directors Patrick Harman and Nathan Oesterle have a combined history of 20 years of stage combat experience. They have trained heavily in weapons such as:

MEET OUR FIGHT DIRECTORS

  1. Nathan Oesterle
    Nathan Oesterle
    Nathan has been choreographing in NYC since 2011. He started training in 2005 with Art of Combat where he was known as Lumberjack for his aptitude for tomahawks. In addition to stage combat, he also achieved a first degree black belt in Tai Kwon Do and a black belt in Karate.
  2. Patrick Harman
    Patrick Harman
    Began his love for stage combat in college when he starred in the title role of Cyrano de Bergerac. He has since continued his education working with Art of Combat and Neutral Chaos. He has Choreographed with Broadway fight directors and is excited for the future of Stone & Steel Combat.
